Learn how to transform kitchen scraps and yard waste into nutrient-rich compost, a natural fertilizer that reduces landfill waste. We'll cover the science behind composting, what materials to include (and avoid), how to choose and maintain your bin, and how to troubleshoot common issues. Leave empowered to create your own compost and contribute to a more sustainable future!

Birding Meet-Ups​

Calling all bird enthusiasts- from seasoned birders to curious beginners! 

 

Join other River Raisin Birders for a casual get-together to spot and appreciate the feathered friends in our local area.

 

This opportunity is a chance to learn from more experienced birders and share your own sightings. It’s open to anyone with an interest in birds! Bring comfortable walking shoes and any other items you feel fit such as binoculars, field guides, and/or a comfortable folding chair.
