Nature Exploration Classes

Through interactive programs like nature days, family nights, and adult workshops, the RRWC ignites curiosity in all ages through engaging classes on diverse topics like agriculture, sustainability, and wildlife. These experiences foster a deeper connection with the natural world, inspiring responsible actions to protect our local environment.

Adult Classes - Ages 13 and older

Basics of Beekeeping​

​

Mondays from 6 - 8pm (Beginning 02/12 thru 03/18) at RRWC Office (804 N Evans St. Tecumseh MI)

​

From bee basics to honey harvest, this course equips you for beekeeping success. After completion you will be invited to join a local beekeeping club and continue to learn from seasoned mentors who will be your lifelong beekeeping resource. Includes course book. Taught by Beekeeping Experts: Don Warner & Janet Tucker.

Love the Earth - Nature Appreciation Event

​

Saturday, April 13th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at

RRWC Office at 804 N Evans St. in Tecumseh MI

​

This event will include:

- Nature Walk

- Bird Feeder Making

- Seed Bomb Making

- Nature Journaling

- Flower Pressing

Adult Classes

Wild Ones Nature Camp - Ages 10 to 14

This program is an extended version of the Family Nature Friday program and is intended for children ages 10 to 14.

Vernal Pools & Amphibians

March 16th from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at

Hidden Lake Gardens, 6214 Monroe Road (Hwy M-50), Tipton, MI

Interpretive nature walk, interactive activities & games and nature journaling.
