Nature Narratives
The River Raisin Watershed Council invites you to join the Nature Narratives Book Club. A space for community, conversation, and curiosity. Together, we’ll explore books that deepen our connection to the natural world and inspire stewardship within our local watershed and beyond. Each gathering offers a chance to share perspectives, learn from one another, and reflect on how stories can shape the way we care for our environment.

Upcoming Book Club Meeting
We’ll be reading The Firekeeper’s Daughter by Angeline Boulley. A powerful, coming-of-age novel that weaves together Indigenous identity, community, resilience, and justice. Set in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, this story invites reflection on belonging, responsibility, and the ties that connect people to land and culture.
