Watershed Management Plan
The Watershed Management Plan was published in 2009 in partnership with the Lenawee Conservation District, University of Michigan School of Natural Resources and the Environment, Stantec and JFNew. It was also partly funded by the Clean Water Act grant administered by the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality.
It provides an in-depth assessment of water quality concerns, goals and objectives, and recommendations for watershed management. It also contains a thorough introduction to the geology, history, climate, flora and fauna, land-use, and hydrology of the River Raisin Watershed.
This resource is freely available and can be cited when writing reports or applying for funding.
